I love the beach........

I love the beach that's why I chose this blog template to tell my story as the Slipcoverteer. It reminds me of when we go to the coast every year at Christmas. We have a house near the ocean on a coastal lake and while we're there we always try to plan a trip to Shore Acres which sets on the coastal cliffs of Charleston. It has the most beautiful botanical garden covered with twinkling holiday lights and then after enjoying hot cider and cookies we head back to the lake where on the way we always stop at Umpqua light house and view it's red and green revolving light as it searches over the dunes and the ocean shore just in-between the jetties there lays an oyster farm where you can get the best oysters grown ever. We never have the holiday without preparing oysters our favorite ways; steamed, on the barby, sautéed in butter, oyster stew and of course oyster casserole, (Oh that's on Thanksgiving) and even sometimes we do shooters. Love them and love all our friends and family for sharing them with us.
